Abdullah bin `Amr bin Al-`as (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him) said, "The world is but a (quick passing) enjoyment; and the best enjoyment of the world is a

pious and virtuous woman".[Muslim]

Commentary:This Hadith mentions the qualities of a virtuous woman. When her husband looks at her, she pleases him; when he orders her, she obeys him; and when he is absent, she guards herself (chastity) and

the property of her husband. (Abu Dawud and Nasa'i).

This Hadith stresses the fact that if one wants success in this world and the Hereafter, he should select a pious wife. Rather than going after her beauty, lineage and wealth, one should give preference to her Faith over all other considerations. 

If he chooses a woman who is faithful to her Deen and strictly adheres to the Shari`ah, she would be a source of blessing for him in this life and the

Hereafter..!

Prophet Mohammed SAW said:

There are two types of the people of hell that I not seen yet; men with whips like the tails of cattle with which they strike people, and women who are clothed yet naked walking with an enticing gait with something on their heads that looks like the humps of the camels, leaning to one side. They will never enter paradise or even smell its fragrance, although its fragrance can be detected from such and such a distance.

TAQWA [Fear]

A man once came to Hasan Basri (rahimahullah) seeking his advice. 

He said: “I have received many proposals for my daughter. Please advise me as to whose proposal should I accept, and give my daughter in marriage to.” 

Hasan Basri (rahimahullah) replied: “Get her married to the man who fears Allah Ta‘ala.” 

He then explained the reason thus: “If he is happy with her then he will honour and appreciate her, and if (for some reason) he dislikes her, then he won’t cause her any harm. 

(Mirqaat vol. 6, pg. 265)

Lesson: Taqwa (the fear of Allah Ta’ala) is indeed the solution to all our problems. It is the means of protection from calamities in this world and the Hereafter.

And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e.music, singing, etc.) to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah without knowledge, and takes it (the Path of Allah, the Verses of the Quran) by way of mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment (in the Hell-fire).

And when Our Verses (of the Quran) are recited to such a one, he turns away in pride, as if he heard them not, as if there were deafness in his ear. So announce to him a painful torment.

Importance of Nawafil Namaz (Salah)

It was Narrated from tamim dari may ALLAH be pleased with him that the Prophet Peace be upon him said The first thing for which A person will be brought to a account on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayer (Salah) . If it is complete then the voluntary ( Nawafil) prayer will also be recorded for him (As an increase) If it is not complete then Allah will say to his Angels Look and see wheather you find any voluntary (Nawafil) prayer for my slave and take them to make up what is lacking from his obligatory ( farz) prayers then All his deeds will be reckoned in like manner

7 Qualities that Allah Loves!!

1. TAWBAH (Repentance)

"For Allah loves those who turn to Him constantly (in repentance)" [Surah Al Baqarah 2:222]

2. TAHARAH (Purification)

"Allah loves those who keep themselves pure and clean." [Surah Al Baqarah 2:222]

The Prophet (Sallalahu alai wasallam ) said, "Seven (people) will be shaded by Allah by His Shade on the Day of Resurrection when there will be no shade except His Shade. (They will be), 

1. A just ruler, 

2. A young man who has been brought up in the worship of Allah

3. A man who remembers Allah in seclusion and his eyes are then flooded with tears, 4. A man whose heart is attached to mosques (offers his compulsory congregational prayers in the mosque), 

5. Two men who love each other for Allah's Sake

6. A man who is called by a charming lady of noble birth to commit illegal sexual intercourse with her, and he says, 'I am afraid of Allah,' 

7. and (finally), a man who gives in charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given."
